The “Client” is you, the person requesting the services.

Commencement

Acceptance of the quote provided by Moonbyte constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions.

Quotations

All quotations are valid for 14 days only and exclude GST (we are not required to pay GST). All pricing is listed in Australian dollars.

Communication

Moonbyte is run as an online freelance business in addition to our primary jobs. Due to this, most communication is done through email to help organise project requests, revisions and approvals. Phone calls can be made, but must be organised beforehand.

Copyright

The Client is granted full copyright and reproduction rights of assets upon completion and payment.
Moonbyte retain the rights to show projects for promotional and marketing purposes. Including but not limited to display on our website, social media or in print.
All unused concepts or ideas remain the property of Moonbyte.

Proofing and approvals

It is the responsibility of the client to provide all items required to complete the project. This includes all copy, photos and additional content.
It is the responsibility of the client to check proofs for accuracy and errors. Moonbyte is not liable for any errors or omissions. If errors are found after the final approval is made, the cost of a reprint is the responsibility of the client.

Additional work

Defined as any work involving additions to the list of items defined in the quotation or changes to finished artwork after sign-off by an authorised representative of The Client.

From time to time The Client will require extra assets or changes during a project, or extra files upon completion of a project. The Client will be informed that the alterations or changes requested fall outside the scope the original quotation. An additional quotation will be provided.

Storage of projects

It is the responsibility of the Client to download and store any final files provided to their own storage system. Any links to files sent are temporary and will expire after items have been accessed. If the Client requires files to be resupplied at the completion of the project, they will be processed when time permits and sent via email.

Reproduction

Unless specific Pantone (PMS) colour swatches are requested, differences between the screen and final outputs may vary. This is due to CMYK vs RGB conversions and varying suppliers.

Final files

Print focused designs will be provided as print-ready PDF files (3mm bleed and crop marks). Other file types can be requested where required (eg, .SVG or .EPS for embroidery).

Digital items will be provided in the format most suitable for usage (eg, JPG, PNG, or SVG).

Turnaround time

Turnaround times will be discussed during the briefing and will be listed on quotes. Times can vary depending on the scope of the project and the number of revisions.

Payment

With larger projects, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required before the project can commence.
Payment will be made via the secure facilities provided by hnry. Final Artwork will be released when payment has been received.
All printing accounts must be settled in full prior to the release of the files to the printer.
